fun.

It's a little hard to see the 16th level. everything is so smal.

iNFlatableThor responds:

Thanks! I re-posted with a bigger window size.

yay spacebar masher :p
The whole idea of upgrading and leveling up is cool. Somehow, confetti helps you gain more money... that was pretty random. The program is generally bug free ( I did notice that you could "purchase" the new colors even after you unlocked them) The only problem is that the player has to hit the space bar FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND *(*$%&# TIMES. Sorry. spamming the keyboard makes me very irritated. One game effect you could add is turrets or other items that hit monsters for you. That would make the game much more interesting. Also, some sound FX would be nice.

Lavaflame2 responds:

500,000 times? I think thats a bit of an overstatement. One needs not press the spacebar more than a thousand times in order to beat the game

Love the artwork! It really gives a sense of tranquility.
When I flew into the rock, the guy just glitched (he just stopped there)
Some additional jazz music would accompany it piece well.

Overall great job!

UltimoGames responds:

wow, thanks man! Thx for the feedback!

I see potential here.
The biggest problem I see is the lack of a "rhythm" to follow or catch, which kind of defeats the purpose of the game.

Couldn't you at least synchronize the rhythms?

SSStand responds:

Thx crowd !, all of your opinion i will take for my second version of this game,
i would rewrite this project, since there are some tech problems on my code
(messy , unstructured, etc), thx again for the feedback and your time !!

Needs work on the AI. ( I got 3 vertical worms at once)
I cool feature to add would be to have the grid you move in enlarge every few "rounds" or so. (ie, you can move to 16 different squares, etc) You could have also implemented various other enemies that moved differently.
Just some suggestions.

JonathanMelnik responds:

Sorry about the 3 worms haha!
Thanks for the comments!

Nice concept.

I guess the only real thing that bothered me the most was the controls. I felt as if was difficult to aim the ball into the goal. For me it was mostly luck. Perhaps you could slow down the pace of the game.

Great job for your first (original) game!

TrofSivart responds:

Hey, thanks for the encouragement! My goal was to make controlling the ball a challenge, because I thought it would be fun. But it turned out that it was more frustrating that fun! I appreciate the input!
